Am Dienstagabend lud Mexx zur Vorstellung der neuen Modelinie “Mexx Metropolitan” ein. An den Stangen konnte man die bunte Frühjahr-/Sommerkollektion betrachten und nebenbei sind die Models in die Kollektion geschlüpft und direkt auf ihre Tanzbarkeit getestet.
Die Kollektion ist vom Lifestyle der Großstadt inspiriert und enthält Teile, die man sowohl im Büro, als auch zum Ausgehen tragen kann. Sie sind zum Einen also “Basic”, aber trotzdem chic genug um sie auch am Abend zu stylen.
Besonders gut gefallen, haben mir die Teile in knalligen Farben. Beispielsweise die crèmefarbene Bluse, mit Neongelben Details, oder die korallfarbene Hose. Nachdem ich mich diesen Sommer mal ein bisschen mehr an Farben ran gewagt habe, bin ich nämlich ganz zuversichtlich, dass ich mich im nächsten Sommer endlich mal zu Farben wie Neon (nicht nur in Form von Accessoires) bekennen werde. Die machen nämlich gute Laune und sehen (auf gebräunter Haut wohl bemerkt) richtig toll aus.
Wie eben schon angedeutet, wurde die neue Kollektion von den Models direkt auf ihre Tanzbarkeit geprüft. Der Abend war nämlich mit ganz toller Musik untermalt. Die Models tanzten zu tollen Songs von der Band von der niederländischen Jazz Musikerin Candy Dulfer. Ich bin immer noch begeistert von der Performance!! Besonders beeindruckt war ich von ihr selbst, da sie am Saxophon richtig Gas gegeben hat.

On Tuesday, I attended the presentation of the new fashion line from Mexx, called “Mexx Metropolitan”. The collection is inspired by the lifestyle of major cities. The clothing has to be business like on the one hand, but on the other hand also chic enough to go to an after dinner date. I’m in love with the colorful collection and could imagine to wear the outfit with yellow neon details for work, but also for a party! I wanted to go for neon colors next summer anyways…
Very cool was, that the collection wasn’t only hanging on clothing rails, but the models put them on and danced to music from Candy Dulfer’s band. It was so so so good. So many impressive voices… I wish I could hear all this again. I simply loved it
